The Daiwa Steez Custom HMKL Minnow is a Jerk bait. Its design is simple and that's to appeal to universal forage bases of various different types of minnows and juvenile fish. In terms of body design, the shape of the HMKL's body is incredibly lean because designer Izumi believes that 'leaner lures are more effective in tough fishing situations'. It's unique design features Daiwa's exclusive SaqSas technology swivels on the front and back helps to reduce the risk of fish coming off and to simply catch more fish. The swivels allow the hooks to spin freely avoiding the rudder-like action. The specially-designed SaqSas weight transfer system utilizes small tungsten weights allowing the bait a much more balance under the water and the internal counter buoyance weight stabilizes the bait without any unnecessary noise. Wherever the treble hooks stick in the fish's mouth, the SaqSas swivels rotate to prevent tearing and losing the fish. Available in six predator-provoking hues.
